Playsound Command Maker Tool

Build a playsound command using our interactive target selector, select options, enter ranges. For both Minecraft Java and Bedrock. Make sure you select the correct version, as sounds have different codes between Bedrock and Java editions.

Versions

The command has changed in different versions over time.

Latest Java versions don't require source or target. Source will default to master. Target will default to @s
/playsound ambient.cave @a

Java 1.9 - 1.20.4 adds source, and requires a target
/playsound ambient.cave @a

Java 1.7 - 1.8 doesn't have source, and requires a target
/playsound ambient.cave @a

Bedrock is very old and doesn't support source
/playsound ambient.cave @a ~ ~1 ~ 10 2 0.5
